An old Cherokee told his grandson, “My son, there is a battle between two wolves inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies and ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, empathy and truth,”
The boy thought about it and asked, “Grandfather, which wolf wins?”
The old man quietly replied, “The one you feed.”
You may have heard this story before, but have you sat with it and thought about how it applies to your life? Sometimes, I am not even conscious about what wolf I am feeding. That is when I wonder, are the wolves devouring me instead, from the inside-out?
Happiness is an inside job. Growth is a choice – in either direction. You can grow either wolf.
Which wolf will you feed? How will you feed it?
Which wolf is bigger now?
